1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector's Edition - $10,600 - Too Late --  Sold!
Class Winners is excited to have aquired a great example of the special model option available only in the final year of the C3 (1968-1982 third generation Corvettes). The Collector's Edition was a special RPO (regular production option) that added a whopping $4,247 cost on top of the $18,290 base price of a Corvette. Because of the high price tag, fewer 1982 Collector's Editions were produced than 1967 427ci big block Corvettes.

As with all 1982 Corvettes, this example utilizes the Cross-Fire Injected (known as TBI - throttle body fuel injection on millions of Camaros, Silverados and Suburbans!) 350-ci V8 mated to Chevy's bulletproof 700R4 four speed automatic. Rated at 200 horsepower and 285 foot-pounds of torque at just 2,800 rpms, the combination made the Corvette one of the fastest accelerating new cars of the year.

This fully-loaded Corvette features the Collector's Edition's special paint with gradient decals, leather interior, wheels and opening rear hatch -- all exclusive to this special option package.  This car is well-preserved original, being kept garaged to best preserve exterior, interior and mechanical elements. Leather seats recently redone in correct factory materials and patterns. Paint shines nicely and while it is among the best original paint C3s we have seen, on very close inspection, as one would expect, the car displays limitations of contemporary materials.

A view from the driver's seat that cannot be matched by anything less than a Jaguar XKE, driving this car is a treat. All acceleration, braking and handling properties better than on any other many C3s we have driven. Cold A/C.

Get your nostalgia fix and relive 1982 in one of the most rapidly increasing value collector vehicles of the era.

1967 Chevrolet El Camino 396 ci/ 325 hp - $16,500 Too Late --  Sold!

Own The Road -- One of just 2,565 L35 1967 Chevrolet El Caminos produced with the ultra desirable factory RPO L35 Turbo Jet 396-cubic inch, 325-horsepower big block V8 engine, it remains a great example among the infinitesimal percentage of numbers matching survivors.

An exterior, interior and mechanical restoration was completed roughly ten years ago. The factory-rated tire-melting 410 pound-feet of torque available to the driver's right foot has been increased with a higher lift/longer duration cam and 15-over bore of the numbers matching 396 V8. Original Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission rebuilt and fitted with 2500 RPM stall converter. 12-bolt rear end with factory original 3.31 ratio. Four-wheel disc brakes, air shocks and 1" sway bars added during restoration.

Car comes with factory original steering wheel, as well as new rear window and reproduction speedometer bezel with lens.

A cool muscle car in which to enjoy cruising, clubs and cars & coffee events.

1976 Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 - $58,995
Ask those true Ferrari "Tifosi" who have driven many of Maranello's finest cars and they'll tell you that the 308 GT4 is one of Enzo's best all-time driving experiences -- more fun, comfortable and rewarding than even most of those coveted V12 cars from the 1960s that are worth tens of millions. As the only Bertone-styled factory Ferrari model, the 308 GT4's short nose / cab forward 2+2 design creates a sense of speed and balance unlike its contemporaries from Lamborghini and Maserati.

It is also the first V8 production Ferrari -- utilizing the famous flat-plane, quad-cam 3-liter V8 that would go on to be used in its GTB and GTS offerings. In this form, the engine is fed by four beautiful twin choke Webers as it screams up to a 7800 RPM redline.

This specific example, chassis 12500 was built June 14, 1976 and is one of only 32 308 GT4s ever produced painted in code 20-Y-546 Avorio Safari. It comes with full documentation from new when it was sold by Ferrari of Walnut Creek and somehow titled as a 1975. With 63,000 miles, a full engine rebuild with new clutch performed less than 1000 miles ago. Engine block is from a later 308 GTS. Seats have been retrimmed in proper Pelle Rossa code 893 leather. The car would benefit from a respray, but can be enjoyed as it.

A chance to own one of the best driving experiences of any car before this rapidly appreciating Ferrari becomes out of reach like its Dino 246 GT predecessor.

1988 Pontiac Fiero Formula T-Top - $6,500 - JUST IN!

Available only in the Fiero's final year of production, the Formula matched the light notchback body with the top-spec 2.8L V6 engine and updated multilink suspension with an added handling package. Of the 5,643 total Formulas produced, just 199 Formulas were factory specified with T-Tops - and only half of those were fitted with the 5-speed manual transmission, making this example the rarest and most desired of all Fieros by collectors.

This Fiero Formula was treated to a restoration in the last decade, including a repaint in its original factory Bright Red color. Factory "Formula" side decals have been replaced with elegantly ghosted lettering in the original font and placement. Interior is beautiful with virtually no wear. Clean engine bay and front hatch area. Custom alloy wheels in pristine condition. Just turning 100,000 miles, due to the passionate restoration and maintenance, the vehicle runs, handles, shifts and brakes exceptionally well.

Overall, this vehicle represents as one of the nicest Fiero Formulas still used on the road.

1987 Suzuki Mighty Boy PS-L - $8,500

The Coveted Small Truck with A Huge Personality!

A wonderful Flash Red example of the Japanese Domestic Market's first personal trucklet, the Suzuki Mighty Boy. Made in limited quantity from 1983 through 1987, when new it was only available in Japan and Australia. Mighty Boys with this trim level and in this condition are exceedingly rare in home markets and unheard of in North America.

Just 10'6" long and weighing only 1186 pounds, the sporty micro-El Camino is powered by a water-cooled overhead cam three cylinder engine displacing just under 550 ccs -- the maximum allowed under contemporary JDM Kei class rules. A 5 speed manual transmission routes 30.4 horsepower to the front wheels, which puts a power to weight ratio of 39 lbs-per hp -- not far off the 32.5 lbs-per-hp mark of a 1987 Ford Mustang Convertible. Advertisements touted the Mighty Boy's astounding 70+ mpg fuel economy, as well as its ability to haul 980 pounds of payload.

This Mighty Boy left the factory as a rare PS-L trim level with factory sport bucket seats, roof and bed rails, as well as optional air conditioning. Factory front disc brakes/rear drums. New spray on bedliner over a rust-free and dent-free bed. Under 44,000 original miles, this example is an honestly used, but well cared-for original.

No matter what you call it: truck, car or trucklet... it is the center of attention wherever it goes. The ultimate tailgating vehicle.
